Welcome to the Browns Books website.
Browns Books is based in Hull , North East England and has been here since the 1860's. We are a family owned independent bookshop who also have a Library and School book supply and servicing departments and a Business account department.
We are open Monday to Friday 830am - 530pm, Saturday 9am - 530pm. We have a wide selection of local Hull and Yorkshire titles available in store. Many of these are not available on the website.
Other instore products not available through the website include newspapers, magazines, jigsaws, games, Parker and Sheaffer pens, art materials, general stationery items and a new range of jewellery supplied by "Atlas Accessories" (which you can also purchase from www.atlasaccessories.co.uk) We also can provide Ordnance Survey site maps.
We hold a Literary Lunch three to four times a year, the latest on being our forty-fifth event. If you would like details of this event or would like to sign up for our newsletter, please email us with your details
